Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This policy explains what data this website collects, why, and what happens to it. The site is operated by Henry Brennan, a freelance musical director based in Glasgow, Scotland.

What I collect

When you use the contact form on this site, you provide your name, email address, and message. I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. I do not add you to any mailing list, and I do not share your details with anyone else.

This site uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect the contact form from spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

The media section of this site embeds videos from YouTube. When a YouTube video loads, YouTube may set cookies and collect data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Lawful basis

I process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest — you've reached out with an enquiry, and I need your details to reply. For cookies set by third-party services (reCAPTCHA and YouTube), the lawful basis is consent or legitimate interest depending on the nature of the cookie.

How long I keep your data

Contact form submissions are retained in my email inbox for as long as they remain relevant to an ongoing or potential working relationship. I do not maintain a separate database of enquiries. If you would like me to delete correspondence, just ask.

Who else processes your data

Your contact form submission is delivered to me via email. Depending on the form service in use, this may involve a third-party provider that processes the data on my behalf. Google processes data through reCAPTCHA and YouTube as described above. No other third parties receive your data.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies. However, embedded third-party services (Google reCAPTCHA and YouTube) may set cookies in your browser. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to request access to any personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, object to its processing, or request that it be transferred to another party. To exercise any of these rights, contact me at the email address below.

If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Contact

If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach me through the contact form on my website, or by email at the address listed there.
